Ministry Opportunities
Here are just a few of the ministries at Mannahouse, where you can serve and get connected:
Youth Ministry – The Youth Department focuses on age young people age 12 to 24. For those who desire to minister to youth, this is a great area to become involved to develop those ministry skills. Mannahouse Youth gathers every week for worship, a message, prayer and breaks into groups every other week.
Production – Sound, lighting, and video all play a key role in delivering a life-changing message to the whole church while creating a distraction-free environment. If you are into music and mixing a sound board, creating eye catching lighting displays, running power point presentations for the speaker or worship songs, and/or learning to be a camera operator then please check this out. Opportunities exist at all of our midweek and weekend services as well as working with the production team.
Pastoral – Our Mannahouse Pastoral Team is all about caring for our guests and helping our church grow in discipleship and relationships through groups and dream team. If you would like to be a warm, friendly face that welcomes someone into the house, helps new members become family through our Belong class, or you may have a heart for making a difference in the community through evangelism and events then this may be for you.
International Missions – Mannahouse is uniquely called and positioned to be a church for all people. We live in an urban region with growing ethnic diversity. In spite of language and cultural barriers, our passion is to see people from every generation, ethnicity and background worshiping, serving and having meaningful relationships together in one local church! Our weekly worship services increasingly reflect the ethnic diversity found in our communities.
Children’s Ministry – Mannahouse Kids is more than your average children’s ministry Sunday School. It is church JUST. FOR. KIDS. In every classroom, we are purposeful with our time as we lead the next generation into the presence of God. We aim to create a fun and safe environment that helps nurture godly relationships with not only other kids but also teachers.
Church Events & Administration – If you love to do lists and organizing things, then join the Administrative team. There are lots of opportunities to roll up your sleeves in event planning, project management, décor, hospitality, as well as helping things to run smoothly in the Mannahouse offices.
Mannahouse Christian Academy – At MCA, our students are challenged to develop compassion and a heart for serving at both their church and local community while receiving a top notch K-12 Education. If you have a heart for teaching and mentoring and want to grow in skills and ability along with our young people as they seek godly character and deeper faith you will be helping to prepare them academically, spiritually, and inter-personally.
ESL Tutor – ESL Tutors enjoy the great privilege of learning about other cultures, making new friends and helping immigrants or students learn to communicate in their new surroundings and adjust to life here at PBC and Mannahouse.
Worship & Creative Arts – Our vision and mission is to worship God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We believe worship is a lifestyle, and it is our desire to be examples of those who wholeheartedly and passionately express their love for God in everything they do. Whether it is through music, dance, drama or any other creative expression, we long to see people touched and changed by God’s abiding presence.
Young Adults Ministry – Our Mannahouse YA First Friday services are a place for young adults, ages 18-30 to connect with each other, to get connected to the Mannahouse family, to encounter Jesus and to grow in their relationship with God. However, the real life and energy of our community is found in the groups that connect all over the region throughout the month. It’s life together, never alone, that makes a real difference.
